Using Opta data with TRACAB data, Daniel Altman took a day trip from New York to London to deliver his presentation on the development of metrics to quantify scoring opportunities, but without basing the models on shots.

In his presentation, Dan showcases a versatile model that, when combined with assignment of defensive responsibilities, can rate players all over the pitch.
