FILM: OptaPro Forum: Square pegs for square holes

Will Gürpınar-Morgan delivered the first presentation at the 2015 OptaPro Analytics Forum, focusing on identifying player types to support an underpinning recruitment strategy.



A Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, Will been using his research skills to analyse and write about football from an analytics perspective since 2012. His main interest is assessing and quantifying how teams and players approach the game and how this can be applied to improve decision making on and off the pitch.
